Aya Chukr
Aya joined LendCity in March 2022 as Operations Manager, quickly becoming a cornerstone of the organization with her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Over the course of her tenure, Aya has demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt and grow, expanding her skill set across underwriting, process optimization, and U.S. real estate investments. Notably, she led the expansion of LendCity's operations into Mexico, creating new opportunities for clients and driving the company’s international growth.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions and leadership, Aya was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) in March 2024. In this role, she continues to drive operational excellence, leading initiatives that strengthen the organization’s infrastructure and support its long-term goals.
Aya’s academic journey began at the University of Windsor, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. She then pursued a master’s degree in Forensic Science and Toxicology from the University of Strathclyde. Her scientific background fosters a unique analytical mindset and methodical approach, which she integrates seamlessly into her leadership at LendCity.
Outside of work, Aya is passionate about traveling, immersing herself in diverse cultures, and seeking out new experiences that enrich her global perspective.
