Matt Buschman’s journey has been defined by challenges, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Every obstacle, both in life and business, has shaped him into the person he is today. These experiences fuel the deep, meaningful conversations he has with his clients, team, and family.
With a wealth of firsthand experience, Matt is passionate about every aspect of real estate. He’s driven by a love for continued education, creative marketing, and discovering opportunities in land acquisitions, real estate, design and multi-residential and commercial real estate development. Matt prides himself on identifying business opportunities across various property types, always looking for the next prosperous venture for clients or companies.
Since becoming a full-time licensed realtor in May 2007, Matt has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer. Seeking to expand his capabilities, he joined Keller Williams in early 2019, the world’s largest real estate brokerage by agent count. Shortly after, he co-founded Synergy Real Estate Group Corp in the fall of 2019, achieving his goal of enhancing both the realtor and client experience. With a solid background in commercial real estate and investing, Matt earned the Keller Williams Canadian Commercial Director designation, allowing him to grow further and positively impact his clients’ success. His passion for analyzing and consulting in development and finance led him to obtain his Ontario Mortgage Agent licence, partnering with Dominion Lending Expert (Mississauga) and Lend City (Windsor) to create Synergy Financial. Backed by a talented and committed team, the unique combination helps provide a complete and diverse service for our clients.
Since 2005, Matt has been the sole owner and president of a multi-million dollar real estate development corporation. He has overseen the acquisition, design, and development of multi-residential housing that has served over 1,400 tenants and counting. With a strong team now handling operations, Matt is focusing on aggressive expansion into large-scale development, with international investment on the horizon for 2025/26.
As a proud father of 4 amazing kids, he never loses focus on regularly instilling life's important lessons with them. Growing up, Matt had success in school, sports and business through determination and hard work. His sole goal is to ensure the lessons he learned from his humble beginnings are maintained as the foundational backbone to which his family lives. Staying humble and inspiring others indirectly through leadership style qualities fueled by hard work, discipline and drive to succeed is rule #1. “This by far has and will continue to be my greatest challenge in this ever evolving world.
